You’re hired!
I am fully employed at a very boring job. Said job will be called ‘real job’, and real job is at ABC Company, in Any City, USA.
But real job is very boring. Very secluded. More details will reveal themselves when need be, so all you need to know right now is that real job is very boring, very secluded. We’re a company of about 8. 8 very boring, over 40, office type employees. I’m the youngest, and the cutest. But thats not the point. I’ve been here for almost 2 years, and its driving me crazy.
Before real job I was employed at a game store. It will be called Game Store, located at Any City, USA. I worked at Game Store for over 2 1/2 years. I hated that job too towards the end. It stressed me out incredibly. I was told by friends and family to quit job or find new friends (and family) because I wasn’t pleasant anymore. So I did.
Voila! I make more money, but I’m just as stressed. And bored. So I called up my old boss at Game Store.
“Hey! I’m bored, need help?”
“Sure, It’d be great to have you back”
Paperwork processed, and now I work less than 10 hours a week at I think $9 an hour. I’ve worked 3 shifts so far. And after leaving this job I’m not stressed, I’m rejuvinated, and happy.
Why dear Gawd, why?! Why would I be happy after working a shift at a Game Store? Because I finally get to interact with people, I get to do something. I don’t sit on my ass for 8 hours straight writing blogs.
Heh.
And yes, the discount doesn’t hurt.
