Too much pressure.
Been having harnessing problems lately. I suppose thats what I get for skipping four weeks of windsurfing.
I can’t keep the weight distributed correctly on my feel while harnessed in. And I have way too much pressure on my back hand.
I keep putting too much weight on my back foot when I’m harnessed in, resulting in me going upwind constantly. So I know how to fix that, its just a matter of it getting it locked in.
But for the life of me I couldn’t figure out why I had too much pressure on my back hand when I was harnessed in. So I experimented and moved my harness lines further back on my boom and VOILA! that fixed it. But now I have to fix my stance all over again because I’d been surfing for so long with my lines too close to the mast. And not to mention my boom was a little too low.
Now I just need to find a harness where the bar will stop riding up and hitting me in the boobs. I saw a ProLimit harness that I might have to try that I think the bar stays put in.
