Thank you 1-800-EXHAUST.
You give me the little satisfaction of playing like I have a badge of the law.
1800EXHAUST is a toll free number you call to report vehicles that have smoke coming from the exhaust. This is obviously hazardous and against the law.
I don’t know what it is, maybe I just like getting people into trouble, but as soon as I see one, my number is then on the speed dial. I get all excited and giddy with laughter, I concentrate on memorizing the plate number and then gloat whilst in my car after the call.
To my justification though, most of the time, these smoking bastards did something to piss me off. Drive slow, cut me off, or its my judgmental side that comes into play and assume these fucktards with the smoking car don’t give a shit and so its my turn to teach them a lesson.
But if SideCapWearing Joe don’t care about his ears bleeding while vibrating his ‘bling bling’ license plate holder with the expired tags with MojoJay Sean’s latest single, I’m sure he ain’t gonna give a shit about getting a warning that his car needs to be checked.
So yeah, all 1800EXHAUST really does is send the owner of the vehicle a letter saying that their car was reported to be smoking and that if a police were to see it he would be ticketed. Its just a warning. But eh, I get off on the little things.
